Kicking a Westell Wirespeed into IP passthrough mode [08-23-03]
Information on how to enable IP passthrough mode on a Wirespeed through Linux with a minimum of fuss. A Windows box was harmed during this experiment.
Linux on a Dell Inspiron 3800 [12-31-02]
My final chapter for this year, I decided I would do a write up of configuring Debian GNU/Linux
on my old Dell Inspiron 3800 laptop that I bought two years ago. While this subject has been
addressed in due detail many times since this model came out, I cover items that were both
not previously possible or simply unaddressed. If you’re curious, read on.
Installing and Configuring HostAP v0.1.1 [07-27-03]
Discussion of configuring and using HostAP with Prism2 based WiFi cards. Valid through 2004. Probably not very accurate now, although the information on firmware revisions and such is probably still valuable if you have an old 802.11b card.

A lengthy discussion of getting up and running with HostAP release 10-12-2002. I talk about

Silent Hunter II Mission mini Guide [05-03-02]
An incomplete guide with my thoughts and information on the first ten missions in Silent Hunter II’s boxed compaign. This doesn’t cover the Second Kampaign. I have tired of the game, so it’s unlikely it’ll ever include the remaining campaign missions. Sorry.

Abandoned.

Traffic Shaping with tncg [04-25-04]
Discussion of building, configuring, and using tcng, including my actual mostly functional configuration at the time using HTB and SFQ. As tcng is seldom deployed I’d suggest not bothering with the approach described herein. I don’t use it anymore.
A brief introduction to procmail [03-30-03]
Procmail has seen such widespread usage, this is almost obligatory. Within I have written a short introduction to using procmail for basic mail filtering tasks, illustrated using a real world example.
MLDonkey Edonkey client on Linux [11-23-02]
A discussion on setting up the MLDonkey Linux client. It is, by far, the best
Edonkey compatible client available for Linux. It’s written based on knowledge of the Edonkey
protocol gained from reverse engineering, and as such it is not held back by the limitations of the
poorly written official Core Linux client. Read on for setup and usage information. (Mostly outdated and packages are available in Debian GNU/Linux.)
Wireless 802.11b on Linux Part 2 [06-16-02]
A walk through for using the linux-wlan-ng and prism2 host ap drivers for Prism2 based 802.11b
wireless cards, the kernel options required, and a brief look at the Linux wireless tools.
Tactical Ops Online Play Tutorial [05-29-02]

applies to both the Unreal Tourament mod and the commerial release of Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror.
