Obviously, I have upgraded to a more recent version of WordPress. Unfortunately, my ideas on how best to use the horizontal on a display are different from 99% of the WP theme makers. What’s more, my original, favorite style by Sasa Jovanic, simple-blue.css, seems to be missing for the latest WP. So, I am having to retrofit it onto Beccary’s theme I found and borrowed.

Being Friday, I thought it would be a good night to head out for a pie. Well, that’s not entirely true. But, after some prodding a group of us headed off in the general direction of Satchel’s Pizza. We were only somewhat vaguely familiar with the directions to arrive at Satchel’s, but we managed not to get lost.

Wow, Cingular really sucks. I’ve been a frequently user and abuser of a Cingular customer every single night, without fail. And, every single night, without fail, my conversation is interrupted by a dropped call on average once per fifteen minutes of conversation. Yes, that’s right, my conversation is interrupted on the balance about four times an hour thanks to Cingular’s crap service. This has been ongoing for a year now, with only a brief intermission period of about three months.
This is just too good to pass up.

Still undergoing playtesting, my recent Perl foo on parsing Silent Hunter III’s random campaign mission layer has resulted in the ImprovedConvoys mod. With a few more changes, I’ll move on to modify the few task forces represented in the random layer such that they’re seemingly more realistic, or at least less boring. Task forces were rare and varied enough that there’s no one magic template to use for their organization, but the current model of five destroyers and one to three battleships is simply boring.

How cute. The Gregg Reference Manual contains a decoder for the basic online acronyms.
